BRAIN FUNCTION

Everybody have a brain in the world. What do you know about the brain.The HUMAN BRAIN has the same general structure as the brains of other mammals, but is larger than expected on the basis of body size among other primates? In critical literacy subject, i had learned about the hemisphere in the brain. There are two sides in our brain which is left and right brain. Before i tell about the other things, let we see the meanings of the both sides in the brain.

LEFT BRAIN HEMISPHERE

• In tune with ONLY one's very own concept of right and wrong as the basis of one's reality.

RIGHT BRAIN HEMISPHERE

• Emphatic to others concept of right and wrong as the basis of one's reality.

This theory of the structure and functions of the mind suggests that the two different sides of the brain control two different “modes” of thinking. It also suggests that each of us prefers one mode to think.Now, i want to show the examples when we are using left and right brain to think.

VANUATU AND NATIVES PEOPLE

Left brain hemisphere

• the tradition of land diving in Vanuatu are very dangerous and appalling even it mat lost their lives. They do this activity because of the loyalty to their ancestor's belief although they would not survive the jump.

Right brain hemisphere

• Land diving is a ritual performed by the men in Vanuatu which is done without any safety equipment. The ritual is to show their brave to ready be a men and it is one of the ritual in their tradition although the may lost their lives.

EUREKA MOMENT

Eureka moment is the moment of a sudden unexpected discovery OR the moment when you suddenly understand something important, have a great idea, or find the answer to a problem. In my class, i had studied about the eureka moment. For my eureka moment is 

" It was happened at last aidilfitri feast. I went to my village and at that night feast,i ate 'ketupat' which made by my grandmother. suddenly i felt something like a small stone in my mouth while chewing it.i take out that things and show it to my grandmother. Then, my grandmother said it is not a stone but it is looks like sealing tooth (penampal gigi) and i checked it, and i know it was mine. I do not expected it at all"
